After-School Sewing: Thursdays

from 90.00

Thursdays, 3:45 pm–5:45 pm
Two sessions:

1. October 24th, November 7th, 14th and 21st, 2019 (no class on October 31st)
2. December 5th and 12th, 2019 (two classes only)

The scrap bin is overflowing at the studio!!! This fall we will focus on using scraps to create projects with patchwork. You can choose to use a whole session to make a small quilt or you can create two or three smaller pieces over the course of 4 weeks. Options will include patchwork pillow-covers; Fox, Doggie or Penguin. With extra time we can make patchwork bracelets, pouches, etc.

The quilt is perfect for covering your lap while reading, watching a movie or sitting on at the park. Materials for top and batting included. You will need to purchase and bring in your own backing fabric. We will discuss yardage in the first class. Actual quilt will be similar in design to the one shown in photo, but it will be smaller, approximately 45” square.

For ages 7–14
